Character Design Sketches

These are sketches for a simple-to-draw character which I created during my first character animation project, based on the research I had done for pride as an emotion. The character is a very smartly dressed businessman, who is very proud, confident and has quite a high opinion of himself. He is proud because he gets paid a fortune, the job itself is respectable and he gets to boss around all his unfortunate employees. He could also be described as quite vain or a posh snob who likes to win.

   

 

 

 

The sketches were all hand-drawn and the last two images were rendered with block colours using Adobe Photoshop CS4.
